The Pokémon TCG: Arceus V Figure Collection includes:
- 1 foil promo card featuring Arceus V
- 1 sculpted Arceus figure
- 4 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- A code card for Pokémon TCG Live
If there is a Cosmic Eclipse pack in there like the pic shows, then this box is truly fire. The Eeveelution Premium Collection pictures on Pokemon Center also show they contain a Cosmic Eclipse pack which they don't, so I doubt this box has it. Still the Arceus promo looks great, I only wish it has the Legend Arceus logo on it to commemorate the Legend Arceus game like the Asian versions of this card does.
"Old" person here who used to play magic the gathering. My little one heard about this at the playground and is interested in playing. I went to the card shop to buy the pokemon battle academy but they told me to buy a "Noivern V" battle deck for him and a pokemon sword/shield brilliant stars box for me.
I glanced through several "starting Pokemon TCG in 2021" articles and it seems like I made a mistake not buying the academy.
Would this be a good addition, and given that I already have some cards now, is it still worth buying the academy? Thank you SDers!

I highly recommend the League Battle Decks, they are somewhat competitive and contain a lot of staple cards. The Inteleon one is really good cause it's the basis for several meta decks right now. Then in June they are coming out with two Calyrex decks. If you want to learn more I recommend Mahones tricky gym on YouTube.

Battle academy is very much worth the $20 especially if.youre getting started with a kid. It makes it.more like a board game.and makes it very easy to learn to play and includes 3 decks

They gave you bad advice. The Pokémon Battle Academy is a great way for kids to learn to play the game. You could supplement it later with the Noivern V battle deck, but that's a mediocre product anyway. The Brilliant Stars box is useless to you unless you're a collector.
I recommend that once your kid gets the hang of the Battle Academy, you either move to V Battle Decks - or, if they're ready to make a bigger jump in complexity, the Urshifu League Battle Decks and a Trainer's Toolkit to supplement them.

Those are the two I would buy.
