Hi guys, this is my first post so bear with me. I was in the market for a miter stand and had been eyeing this Ridgid stand from home depot for $229

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../206992161

I noticed they had the same exact stand that came with a marker for $80 less which is this one, but it was online order only.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI...318301724? $149.97

So I got on customer support chat and had them look at both items, they agreed it was the same exact stand and was able to price match it for me so that I can pick it up in store and not have to order online.

Basically they will send email you an e-gift card worth $80 and once you send them the code they will apply it to your cart.

Enjoy!

Not bad but I'm pretty sure it's been down to $99 from DTO recently. Spring sales will be coming up next month. Might go cheaper then.

Is this a deal now? I paid $70 or $79 for this from DTO in Dec 2020.

It's 149 if you order online. More than likely your local HD will have it for $229. This hack is more for folks who want to pick one up today for the online price of $149

I finally ordered it at this price become waited months for it to go down or from direct tools. I have lots of projects this summer so didn't want to wait till November. I joined the pro program at Home Depot and got $20 off $200. Needed some other stuff anyways and made me feel better.

Not be sure how much I paid for it, but I had this for a few years and it's solid.

Yeah dto has these randomly as open box returns for 60-80$ periodically. The one I received was basically brand new as none of the screws or bolts had been used. Nonetheless this is a good price for those who need it now. I have two of these and both have held up perfectly from near everyday use on the jobsite. The only minor complaint I have is after awhile the lever to lock and release the stand can get bent out of shape and become tough to lock and unlock, but again that's after near everyday use on job sites for a year or two
