Looks like just roms, nothing remastered. 13 games in the collection comes out to $3 each so that's not bad

A few repeated games. TMNT Arcade / NES version (why!?), Turtles in Time Arcade / SNES (SNES had a few extra levels so I understand this one), TMNT Tournament Fighters SNES and Genesis (WHY!?).
With all the repeated and Gameboy games... Yeah I'm waiting for a price drop on this one.

Tournament fighters was different between SNES and Genesis. Same goes with TMNT arcade on NES vs real arcade. So while titles are "repeated" none of the titles are actually identical as thy have different levels or characters etc

If they were actually identical, I can agree. But they are different, even if in small ways.

Besides, why be upset about the collection being "complete"? If they left games out, wouldn't that be worse????

For $50 and a $10 memory card you can get an arcade stick and basically every arcade game including these.
nostalgia runs deep for a collection like this. Are there plenty of ways to play these, likely for free? Yes. But for some reason I'd rather have this on my Switch. It will eventually go on sale for $29.99, throw in a $5 Best Buy reward certificate burning a hole in my pocket and I'll take it!

Correct tournament fighters on super Nintendo was Superior to Sega Genesis so there's no need to have it for the Sega Genesis as well as teenage mutant ninja turtles the Arcade versus teenage mutant turtles and yes the arcade is way way better but okay if you want to pay $40 for emulated NES and Gameboy games in 2022 then go get ripped off.
You seriously going to sit here and tell me that you would rather play the inferior version of the games...? 🤨
To be fair, some will buy this and play the version they grew up on. I was a Genesis guy, didn't own a SNES. I'd likely play the Genesis version even if "inferior". In the end, the games are there, play what you want. No different than any collection where a handful of games won't resonate with you.

Arcade and NES version have way different feels.

I went back and played both.

They may be the same game but the feel is much different. NES graphics also have a different charm. Arcade is more cartoon ish nes is more 8bit.

Tournament fighters I don't know. The others all make sense though. It's worth it to me.

And I want to support more collections coming out.
