First post but just got this in my inbox, thought other would want to know about it:
Dear My Best Buy® member,
Thank you for being a part of My Best Buy. We would like to inform you of the updated Terms and Conditions, including changes to the dispute resolution terms, coming to the My Best Buy program on May 3, 2022 (View updated My Best Buy program Terms here).
In an effort to simplify the program, we will be consolidating the Elite Plus, Elite and My Best Buy tiers into a single tier. On May 3, 2022, My Best Buy members in the Elite and Elite Plus tier will be moved into the standard My Best Buy program*.
We are also updating how points are displayed within the program. My Best Buy members will earn 1% back in rewards on qualifying purchases (0.5 points for every $1 spent) at Best Buy® and Participating Properties.
As a My Best Buy Credit Cardmember, you will earn 5% back* in rewards on qualifying net purchases (2.5 points for every $1 spent) at Best Buy and Participating Properties made with your Card when selecting standard credit. In addition, you will have the exclusive benefit of banking* your points until you're ready to issue a My Best Buy reward certificate. If your preferences are currently set to points-banking, we'll keep the preferences saved for you if your Card account remains open.
Thank you for being a My Best Buy Cardmember. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 1‑888‑BEST BUY (1‑888‑237‑8289).

Best Buy and GameStop are terrible about shipping. You spend $35 on GameStop for free shipping on 5 games and they send you 5 packages via FedEx. Best Buy you order a $10 video game and they deliver it via currier in 2 hours free. You want to get costs under control? Ship more economically.
Is there somewhere that we can take a survey like gamestop?
when gamestop decided not to allow $5 monthly code to be used on the psn, eshop, xbox currency, I mentioned that we should fill out a survey and voice our opinions.
I'll be emailing the email a few posts above.

Guess in 4 years, Best Buy going out of Business sale.
^this.
Yeah I'm hoping when sales fall off the cliff they will rethink this. I spent $1k already and will absolutely not spend the annual 3,500 ( more ) I have been spending at best buy .

I agree but why 4 years? They could go bad anytime

Though sometimes it's not the store or sites fault as some of the shipping companies take the most asinine routes to deliver it.

Elite customers may be more likely to utilize their banked points for large discounts (vs. all those $5 auto-redeemed ones that probably go to waste), return a higher percentage of their purchases (with the extended period), and use the free shipping more often vs. picking up in-store.
So those of us thinking Best Buy is going to miss its Elite shoppers...probably the other way around. They're thinking "good riddance. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out."
Looking back at last year, I made it to Elite, but almost all of my purchases were either items on sale or price matched. And, with the pandemic, I had almost everything delivered since I'm not driving by the store daily.
