These are made from plastic materials salvaged / recycled from Ocean waste, which is why they're called Barbie loves the Ocean. I was wondering why she isn't wearing a bathing suit if it was 'loves the Ocean', packaging explains it. If your kid gets tired of playing with this, please don't dispose of it by chucking it into the Ocean. if you do, at least smear some tuna fish on it so the Dolphins will eat it and not let it bob around like garbage. Back to nature!
Apparently the "Loves the Ocean" dolls are made of stiff plastic that was retrieved from the ocean. And, because it is recycled plastic, the dolls are a little more brittle, and the colors can be slightly off.
