Battery life for the LG gram is insane. When they say 20 hours they are not kidding.
sadly, there is always going to be a balance between price, power, form factor
if you want the best price, form factor, you will be lacking power. if u want best power and form factor, then you'll be lacking price... same as you want best price and form factor, you'll end up with a powerful 7lbs machine
as a balance, I think these are really good.

anything Data intense will have a problem.
Who buys an lg gram for "data intensive" processing? You should buy the appropriate machine type for the appropriate task.
- 13.3"/14" LCD 300 nits minimum @ 16:10 2560 x 1600 WQXGA (because I like pixel doubling at 1280 x 800 effective resolution)
- 16GB RAM / 512BG SSD (a minimum these days)
- Ryzen 5/7 (no point in getting a 11th gen Intel at this time; hate Intel fan control too)
- USB-C PD charging
- < 3 lbs.
Closest might be the Lenovo ThinkBook G3s I thinkThere are so many deals here I'd take which match all these specs for the most part. For me it never has USB-C PD. I just want to use one charger for all my machines.

8gb ram is a deal killer tho. Lol
Looks spiffy. CPU is on par with a 2600x (AMD). But crap gpu
that comes integrated on the Intel processor.
