for me too. I had 30+ tabs open on my 17" with no issues... but i am going to en code video on 1 of them and expect great performance... probably not



sadly, there is always going to be a balance between price, power, form factor


if you want the best price, form factor, you will be lacking power. if u want best power and form factor, then you'll be lacking price... same as you want best price and form factor, you'll end up with a powerful 7lbs machine


as a balance, I think these are really good.

can someone please tell me which one is better the 15.6 vs 16 lg gram. considering both specs equal i5 with 8gb. only difference i can see is screen size and resolution. and maybe screen ratio. how about battery life in comparison?

Gram 16 arrived aok from BD, smooth set-up. Amazingly light for the size; very nice display. 8/256 is fine for intended usage. Zero complaints especially at this price point. Gonna be kinda tough to go back to a smaller PC lapper screen now.

I would avoid 8gb models you cannot add ram to most laptops these days so look for 16 gb or more.

great gpu, you can play all the older games, there's so many great ones made pre 2010. the biggest issue with all these laptops is it's either 8gb ram and high resolution, or 16gb and 1080p

Couple of updates from my purchase (and now return) of the 15.6" Gram. I really wanted to keep this but unfortunately I couldn't get Costco to let me return the one I bought from them in November outside of the 90 day window and would have had to go through LG's warranty process to try to get a refund on that. With the 45 day window for BuyDig closing I went ahead an initiated the return today.
  • As stated above, Costco seems to be cracking down on the 90 day return window for Laptops. I tried several times over chat and calling into customer service and finally boxed it up (after a format) and went to my local warehouse and was told it all had to go through the concierge process.
  • Called Costco concierge and since it was outside the 90 day return window but well within the original manufacturer warranty everything had to go through LG.
  • Called BuyDig today and return process couldn't have been easier. Note, they did offer me a discount if I wanted to keep the laptop ($80) instead of returning it. It was tempting but would have required me to try to sell my old one and not worth the hassle.
  • Generated a prepaid shipping label and let me know as long as I returned everything in the original box there wouldn't be a restocking fee (I never opened the laptop so shouldn't be an issue.
