If you caused a big scratch on a Citizens mineral, I bet that would have been a big crack/shatter had it been a sapphire.

weird. because ever since i've been buying only sapphire glass, i don't have any scratches on my watches and I have never shattered a watch ever in my entire life.

Has anyone tried an aftermarket sapphire crystal on one of theses? They're not too expensive, but I'm curious how reliable they are and maintaining the watch's water resistance.
