The oracle touch is super-auto so it'll tamp and froth automatically. compare to the philips - you'll still need to move the portafilter over and dump though.
it's all a matter of degrees in how much automation you want. less automation is more tedious and messy but it lets you do thing on your own. unless you have or want to learn barista skills, just go super-auto

FYI - The underpinning technology behind all of these Philips superautomatic machines (their brew unit or brew group) is over 7 years old and might not change in the next 7 years.
You'd need to do some research on if you'd prefer the 3200, 4300, or 5400 to see what will be the best option. For me it was mainly
- better and more intuitive UI
- "profiles" for storing multiple users (if you have different preferences for the same drinks
- more drink options (4300 vs 5400 differ but both have more than 3200 including milk froth only option)
- extra shot (only 5400)
that was my justification for getting the higher model, ultimately I ended up not needing the multiple profiles as everyone likes it the way I like it so no need to change the settings. I also don't typically use more drink options much but occasionally I do use the milk froth only option. For me even though I only hit 2 of my 4 uses on a daily basis I do not regret my decision.

I originally wanted a 2 in 1, because "americanos" aren't the same as drip coffee to me, but more importantly, I didn't want to have to make an espresso EVERY TIME I just wanted a coffee....
but if this philips is truly as automatic as it looks like it is, I have no problem going this route!
One question tho, what is the height of this thing? I found the dimensions on the page, but it doesn't indicate which is L W or H and I wanna make sure it fits under my cabinets.
