Lol... of all the shill sounding posts, this was the most benign. Lower hours of solar radiation during winter months in high (or low) latitude locations + low sun angle = less solar charging capabilities. These are literal facts of physics.

Posters claim is that FEBRUARY when initially Installed had Better performance in LESS Sun than now in MORE sun.
Nothing to do with comparing different geographical locations with different seasons.
I leave them up year long in Massachusetts. They work really well, even in the winter. Obviously more sun makes them last longer, but placed right 9 hours of sun in December is enough for a few hours of light.

You just said in a different way that it's a crappy product and poorly designed. Using inferior Solar/battery that can't provide sufficient power.
I guess you are not familiar with tech products...In this case, numerous reviews state that they failed upon receipt or shortly thereafter.
