Or people living in cities where composting isn't promoted, like chicago, so you either do it at home where you likely don't have enough room or buy something like this to deal with the scraps.

I'm not sold on it yet but I get the attraction.

This looked interesting, and has good reviews, until I realized, using 4-8 hours of electricity to make a handful of dirt, does Not feel very "Green" to me.
