Nice try B&H. 3060 is $320 msrp.
Try again with 3060 Ti at 450 and we'll talk.

If you can wait for 3rd quarter. These retailers will regret not getting rid of stock by then and will try better to move them before end of June.

Why prices keep going down ? Do you think they would go below msrp?! like getting 3060 below $320 even with rebates !?!

If you ask me, I'd say not below Msrp but pretty darn close between end of 2nd quarter and start of 4th. Retailers gotta make room for new stock because scarcity is definitely going down since China banned crypto mining. And China makes these cards. But that doesn't mean a definite end to mining. They'll just pack up and move to neighboring countries.
Or knowing China and Chinese corruption and corrupt one party government they will pay bribes and keep these places going. It won't stop until profits are not good enough to bribe/pay utilities, and keep buying videocards.
Crypto minings been around what, less than ten years now? It's going to plateau unless they come out with some new cat, bat, cockroach currency. And then it might just crash and implode like stock market does any time. And we're in the thick of it. But we're as consumers just not realistically important in all this current trend and the times. We're pc videogamers!
And so in all I'm saying it's going to be better soon. Like I said before fall and after BF will be a good time to pick up a good gpu this year. But screw these lamers still selling 2080s for 870 dollars.
Pick up a good card that will last for at least 3 years so you're not vulnerable. Buy a backup card if you can. AMD won't improve on their iGpus given it will cannibalize their own gpu lineups but Intel I heard is coming soon with their own chips. Maybe gpus too I hope.
They're not anywhere done building their 2 new sites in Ohio or something but they might pan out into the gpu business it's been very profitable for manufacturers and retailers alike.

I wouldn't expect them to go below msrp. Even though the mining craze is over (for now), there are still people that are buying solely to scalp, creating even more artificial inflation. Just pop on FB marketplace. You'll still see people trying to get MSRP for their used Nintendo Switch (non-OLED) and people commenting how its a great price because they are "so hard to find right now" and then the ignorance keeps the scalpers in business.

It's nice to at least see graphics cards being posted again. I'll wait and see.

3060 sorta had a "fake" 329 MSRP.

ASUS,MSI,Gigabyte, etc never actually sold any of these, but NVIDIA linked place holders on Newegg which never got stocked.. EVGA/ZOTAC did sell them (Newegg/EVGA/ZOTAC queues), but with additional shipping charges up to $25 USD depending on location in the US... Meaning anyone who got one early was paying a median of $350 USD + tax.

Real "MSRP" is closer to $399 ATM, granted thats mostly due to current Nvidia chip + memory pricing. Could have changed, but you won't see that $329 "MSRP" for awhile or if ever.

Best situation right now is to buy a reference model Nvidia 3060TI or 3070 via Best buy drop since they're bound by contract to price the Nvidia branded ones without market adjustments if they're still selling them.

Alternatively, 6700 XT or 6800 (non XT) are great values from the AMD drop (Reference models) since those prices were announced before the fiasco and aren't bound to AIB only.

6600XT falls into the same AIB farkery as 3060. AMD "MSRP" was adjusted $380, but the leak prices were closer to $300 mark prior to release. I doubt they'll go below $360 even if there is enough profit margin. Same goes for 6700XT.. was projected to be closer to $400, but ended up at $480.

I think this specific card will end up at the $400 mark, maybe $380 lowest if stock becomes excessive.

Based on recent trends, prime day could be pretty decent this year.
