If it's PayPal, do you really have to care that much? They always side with the customer.

it is a Chinese company, so is creality. no need to worry they are very reputable. The ship from usa too.

No, I'm not worried about losing money. I just find it odd/unexpected and wonder if I'll receive the product. I would've thought I was getting it directly from comgrow and not through a Chinese vendor. I'm not super familiar with comgrow, so I wasn't sure if that was common or not.

They use the term "refurbished" very loosely. I ordered two of the CR10 Smarts from a previous deal, and both of them were very obviously Amazon returns that Comgrow 100% did NOT test before sending to me.
One of them just needed the hot end assembly to be tightened, but the other one had a disassembled bed and several missing screws. I was able to eventually get both of them working, but that was no thanks to Comgrow!

I'd avoid refurbs from Comgrow. Bought a printer and it was missing parts and screws. It was a pain to get in touch with them.

I have recent experience with PayPal that suggests otherwise, at least if hoops aren't jumped through. I had a seller from a shady website try to pull the tracking number scam on me. I raised a dispute with PayPal. They immediately sided with the seller simply because they produced a tracking number that showed a package delivered in my city, NEVER attempting to verify that it was shipped to my address. They also provided ZERO instructions on how to have my dispute elevated or re-evaluated. Only after I was forced to call up and raise hell did they verify that the tracking number was for a package shipped to a different address and reversed course. In nearly twenty years, this is the first real issue I've had with PayPal but it doesn't bode well to me that something so important wouldn't be weighed in on a a decision before making it.

Great timing. My OG seems to have a fault on the heating circuit on the board (tested with a new hot end and my Fluke meter's probe).

"teaching tech" has really good videos. but yes leveling the bed and proper adjustment of the eccentric nuts is key. ill send u my discord too so you can come ask questions in the community =)

Why not just replace the motherboard or whichever other parts need to be replaced? Almost every single part of an Ender 3 can be replaced individually. There's rarely ever a situation where you have to just replace the whole printer. If it's the motherboard itself, drop on an SKR E3 Mini or a Creality silent board for $50 and go back to printing like normal.

Regarding my experience with comgrow, I bought a CR-10 and a CR-10 V3 from them last month. Both were used in some capacity (old filament still in the hot end), but still in a great condition and came with all the necessary parts. I can't say I have any complaints, except that the CR-10 took almost a month to arrive.
