I don't know if its good for professional use but for personal use, it's great!
Whenever we have guest come over that go out on our lake, especially skiing, we have the drone in pursuit.. it gives them a really great gift to remember.. 100% "wow amazing, thank you so much!" so far with videos. Highly recommend.
Also, it's been great for hunting down if the dogs escape. They have flickering lights attached to their collars so it can be seen from a distance. It's helped several times so far. The other thing is wind.. I don't think Florida has above average wind except hurricanes ofc.. so far, literally no issues at all.
BE WARNED - New versions coming out this year I think
Got the Mavic Air 2 from previous SlickDeal. Was pretty intimidated at first coming from a DJI Spark previously. That thing is insane though. Really easy to fly, and boy does it go absolutely bonkers in a good way.
For me, the only concern is the remote ID. I contacted DJI today, and they said they don't have any plan to handle remote ID issue.

I have been holding out for that very reason.
you will be waiting forever. remote id will have zero impact on the current drones being sold by dji from a drone pilot's perspective. dji is under some sort of obligation but clearly they're not going to tell you because it doesn't concern you. but of course, they know what how they plan to handle it.
and before anyone comes back and says the faa has ruled that pilots have to comply by september 2023, my reply is i'll believe it when i see it....ala "comply." obviously no pilot will be forced to comply when no manufacturer complies the year before. it's a cluster, don't worry about it....buy the drone you want to fly today. buy a gasoline car today and don't worry if the government is going to say only electric cars will be allowed on the highways and roadway by 2025.
that being said, i recommend buying the combo kit from b&h for just a bit more. if you have payboo, saves a ton of tax money. i bought the special combo kit they had which comes with the rc pro smart controller; however, if this is your first drone, might be better off looking at the air2 or air2s.
I get $2,272.58 now, not sure if that is still a deal, or into deal dead territory.
Looking for an Air 2s or Mavic 3 with the RC PRO controller. I think I would rather have the 3 with its longer flight time, possibly quieter, or at least lower frequency prop sound, but even the recent deals are so much higher, for example April 23 B&H 3 combo + RC PRO $3,845 versus 2s combo plus RC PRO controller $1,749.
