I have the 50" version in my outdoor patio. For the money, picture quality is excellent, black levels and contrast are fantastic, and it gets plenty bright. Only 60hz panel, so don't buy if it'll be for gaming. Buy the 6 series which does have hdmi 2.1 and a 120hz panel (I have one and it's also great). The software was really rough at launch (laggy and overall slow), but it is a lot better now after some updates. I still use an Apple TV anyway, so I can't provide anything regarding the Google interface other than it looks nice. I think I'm going to buy this 55" version to upgrade a TCL 4 series I have in my bedroom from a few years ago. The 4 series doesn't look good but is a few generations old and was like half the cost.

Tldr: buy this tv if you don't want 120hz for gaming.

Roku version was much better rated than this google variant.
