Thanks OP ordered one . Amazing deal. Best Buy was not willing to price match, given the huge discount of 50%. Bought directly at Amazon.

This looks like it underperforms compared to something like a blue air 211. Are you just paying for the app/auto mode or am I missing something ?

In for 1. Great deal on a highly rated air purifier. CR said its noisy on high, but should be ok in the long run given the other benefits.

This one is super noisy. Maybe one of the loudest on the market. Also has very expensive filters. Much better off with the Coway or even a different blue air.

Coway 400/s air purifier is much cheaper ($382) and covers wider area, up to 1560 sq ft vs this Blueair 698 sq ft

1560 sq ft is 2 cycles per hour. This one is rated at 4 (which is what you want).

CADR is more important. Conway exaggerates their claims.

However I'm returning mine. It's just way too farking big and looks like an ice maker

This model has poor engineering in that it drags air through the fan and pushes it out of of the filters, not the other way around. 2 problems with that: 1. Moving parts will collect dust and maybe large particles and even objects? (The intake grate has pretty big holes). 2. It's very hard to get a seal on filters that are being pushed away from the fan, rather than being sucked in towards the fan.
