Good deal, but those are covered in neoprene, which can irritate the skin for some people and its production is super toxic:

I'm not trying to judge or preach, everyone needs to make their own choice, just offering info in case anyone is interested. I hadn't been aware of the environmental impact of neoprene production before.

The real star of this deal is the pair of 60 lbs for $119 + taxes. Bought a pair, since the Tru-Grit ones from a month ago still haven't shipped.

A dollar a pound for small weights is amazing. When you consider the fixed cost of the handle, cost per pound should go down as weights go up. IMO, this is really good if you need this size.

You'd want the neoprene if you're going to do renegade rows or you'll always be wrapping it in tape anyway. I ended up returning this and exchanging for the softer ones.

Set of 15#s arrived today. I just ordered some shampoo to get over $35 and get free shipping.

This may be a literal fire sale... the weights come in individual boxes packed into a shopping box. Those individual boxes reeked of smoke but the weights seem undamaged and didn't smell.

Careful when you open these boxes. I used a scissors to open the tape and knicked up one of the weights on the rubber part.

Cancel the tru-grit ones, trust me they stunk so bad that I had to leave them outside for 2 weeks and the older never went away!!!! Walmart ended up refunding me and I threw them away. I couldn't even keep them in my house they had such a weird odor coming off of the rubber.
