Why does one need an extra one? The one that comes with IP is a stainless steel make and is strong, sturdy and good enough to last the machine itself. I have dropped mine a couple of times and it didn't even have any visible dent to it, that strong is the metal.

These have been reported in the past to fit other modes that come with non stick pots like the best buy insignia. However I don't know for sure that this one fits.

This is the reason why I bought mine. I own the best buy Insignia which came with a non-stick pot. The non-stick one is still in the shipping wrapper as this SS one did the job superbly.
