I just bought the D5600 deal which was $395 with no lens, I might have bought this instead but didn't realize it came with a lens.

D3500 is a very capable camera, I rented one for my kid at Yellowstone last year. This is a killer price and the AFP lenses are amazing, especially the 70-300 VR, which is also part of this refurb sale for $180 right now.

I would not buy the 2 lens kit, the 70-300 is not worth $150. Get the VR instead.

These are increasingly hard to find. Buy now or regret

I agree. The last time this 10% deal at the Nikon USA site was back in December of last year. I took a little longer to think about it at that time and it was gone and all single lens and two lens kits were sold out when I made up my mind to buy. I saw it this time and I ordered the single lens kit right the way.
