It's really not a lot of work.. I assume you're going to break it up either way.

It's also not water, because they don't add any water. That's 100% natural tuna juice that results from cooking the tuna in the pouch/can, which most manufacturers don't do.

Great deal for some high quality tuna! I'm in for one. About the same price as the best deal I've gotten from my Costco locally ($10 for 6-5oz cans).

Probably cheaper because expiring? Somebody asked, and I've heard before also that the Indian ocean is very polluted? And still don't like the idea of getting fish from near Japan. I noticed the company will answer questions, the easier questions but not the more difficult questions like that.

I've bought Wild Planet tuna on Amazon that was cheaper than this, and I've always gotten cans that still have at least a year until they expire.

I ordered these last time. The worst tuna I ever had…must have compressed like a pancake in some heat/cool cycle while being shipped. First thing I can remember not eating…made it through the first pouch and gave the rest to my dog.

This isn't great for tuna melts. Very compressed, but still liquid to drain from the pouch (or the bread will be soaked).

Tastes fine if you are just eating it. A bit dry though.

This is for on the go protein for salads. It's supposed to be dry- it's meant to be easy to use.

The complainers don't understand it's a DIFFERENT PRODUCT than canned tuna. It's for on the go like a snack.

It might be a bit dry because you drained it, even though the label says not to do so. I've found that once the tuna is broken up, it soaks up most of the juices.

Well I opened the pouch to put it on my bread and a ton of water just poured out (on my bread), it was all separated from the meat. So I drained the rest. I guess putting it all in a bowl and working it for 3-4 minutes could get it right. But that's a lot of work for tuna.
