Deal is at Walmart not at Lenovo. Can't figure out how to remove Lenovo store from the tag.

I'm surprised this deal isn't getting a little more love. A web search yields testimony that RAM is upgradable. Decent value-for-dollar @ $399.

I think the Lenovo specs are here: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/...5_Spec.PDF

Per that, no backlit keyboard Frown

Also, no USB-C/TB port...

Exactly, am not sure why it's not getting more attention either. Haven't seen any good i5 with 512GB deals for this price. Last year i5 series but a must buy if you have fix budget of $400.

TN panel kills the deal. Laptops need good viewing angles.

I think the fact that it's 10th gen is keeping folks muted. I really don't know the drawbacks of 10th gen vs 11th but it seems to be an issue of concern with some folks. Plus, no backlit (not an issue for me but it is with some) and no touch screen. Seems to me like a good deal, but not a great deal, but that's just my opinion.

The drawback is that the core i3-1125G4 beats this 10th gen chip in both processing and graphics performance and can be found on other similarly or cheaper priced laptops on here.

The $279 Target deal had a faster processor. Tenth gen I5 is slower than the 1125g4 I3. $50 more and you can get the 11th gen I5 Dell right now.

But you are right this is upgradable. It is just how Intel vastly improved the 11th gen the 10th gen was not much of an improvement over the 9th. I hear the 12th gen will be a big improvement but you will need Windows 11 to take advantage of it So far they are not out in budget laptops just high end. Perhaps by June but not sure.

Thanks. I think that right there is why people aren't excited for it. Knock $100 off and I'm sure it would get some love. I just took delivery on the Gateway refurb from WMT. $329 for 16gb, 512gb, i5 11th gen. To me that was a much better deal than this however it involved a refurb. However mine looks and runs (so far) great.

Bestbuy has a 11th gen with 12gb for 50 more and touch screen which seems a better deal. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/leno...Id=6461977
