How are ZOTAC cards vs the other card companies like EVGA ..
I've had a couple Zotacs, because I needed their mini cards to ft in my mini case.
My latest is the GTX 1080 which has daily use since 08/30/2017. My only complaint is the fan shroud chatters. It's cheap plastic that vibrates against the pcb board. It has to be shimmed with foam pads to quiet it.
I swore off Zotac a couple years a go. Deep in to the GPU shortage... when you couldn't find a gpu for sale, Zotac decided to offer Mining rigs with 6+ GPUs preinstalled. It outraged people..including me :-).
I also own Gigabyte cards and agree: Gigabyte > Zotac.

founders are the best, hold the best resale value. can rely on the component they use with high bin memory and gpu bin. my 3080 TI founders underclock better and reach higher memory than my EVGA 3080 TI FTW3. but again. evga is the best on warranty so i would rank them second

Even Zotac is lowering their prices, which I guess means the shortage is (almost) over!
FWIW, Zotac also doesn't have a great reputation for service (I think EVGA is tops here), and they engaged in larger price hikes than a lot of competitors. Can hardly blame them for that when people were willing to pay even greater prices, but still left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
That said, this is a pretty solid price for a 3080 12GB. For the 10 GB, it's still above even water-cooled EVGA boards, the advantage being that they're actually in stock.

Personally have not had any major issues with Gigabyte.
