Cool, gonna try to figuratively mix this in to my Intermittent Fasting routine when I'm short on time for literal mixing (type 1 diabetic so I don't have to worry about the artificial sweeteners triggering an insulin release.) In for 4, thanks OP.

getting a 1 liter bottle of water and adding 2 tbsp of lemon juice might work as effective for those avoiding artificial sweeteners.

Or, Get a bag of allulose (real sugar, with 1/10th the calories). And use that as a substitute

When your kid is dehydrated you actually want sugar. I just buy Gatorade or another sports drink for 20% the cost.
