I already have a case, PSU, GPU, and several hard drives, so I'll probably just keep building, but this seems like a very reasonable deal for someone that wants pre-built.
Just bought this for another desktop for work ... got the 3050 card instead and saved 100 ... so 899 plus tax delivered tomorrow ... can't beat that with a stick
Looks like a repeat of the deal a few weeks ago. Performance to dollar ratio is higher than most any deal I've seen the last few months. Problem is getting stuck on the 11th gen 14nm architecture. Only future upgrade is going 11th gen i9.
I plan to use mine for photoshop and premiere. I am currently on a Dell with a i7 4790 and the system is too old for the driver adobe requires. I just plan to make short YouTube videos. Do I really need any more power than this?

No definitely not. The i5 has a 17k passmark score so it's still a great cpu, and of course everything else is like you said, just a great value at it's "unit price." Just enable the XMP mode in the bios to unlock the faster ram setting, but it's enough for me to pull the trigger and I've been looking for several months.
My son wants me to buy him a gaming computer, is this a good starter, or is there something better.. any pointers or information would be helpful thanks

This should be great for gaming. Better? Yes. Cheaper and better? not really unless you buy pre-built proprietary dells or HPs which I wouldn't recommend.
