These are great because with a cheap syringe you can reload them with borax and sugar several times per year. It works wonders.

I like these, they work. But some creature in my yard likes to break them open and eat the syrup. So I switched to a granules product.

It has always been my experience that you need products made specifically for fire ants to get rid of them. I like Amdro fire ant bait.
