Define warm? You probably still need layers with this. It isn't meant for riding cold chair lifts and cruising blue/green runs while wearing a t-shirt underneath.
But lots of people ski in a plain uninsulated shell--this is warmer than that. 60-80g insulation like this jacket has is the kind of insulation where you'd probably still want a light fleece underneath in the 20s. If you are being very active (skinning, skiing really hard, etc.), you might actually start to get too warm in this jacket and would need to drop down to just a base layer underneath.

For those of you wondering, this would easily be usable through an entire season in the NE with just a base layer shirt. I picked up a Burton snowboarder shell with the same level of insulation right before I went to Breck and was very comfortable in windy whiteout conditions. I really want to pick this one up at 150 since I was told HH was BIFL (buy it for life) quality, but I already spent a little over 300 for that Burton shell and some Bugaboo pants this year.
I don't know if I am just unlucky, but my HH jacket inner layer started to peel off just sitting in closet unused after 5yrs. Submit warranty claim but got rejected even with their life time warranty. Yes 5 yrs is a long time but I paid hundreds for it and only used several time. I switch to another brand that I know will stand behind their product even after 10yrs.
My pantagonia also does the same, the glue just start to not working, n I barely use the damn jacket, it nice, warm n fit me well, waterproof n insulated but no stitches on outer shell only glue, I had them send it for repair one n this year took it out to find out my armpit also opened up

Lightweight gear like this is rarely BIFL
HH makes great gear, but in a light backcountry oriented jacket you are going to sacrifice durability compared to a heavy triple layer gore Tex shell.
You might still get many years out of it, but it will be more susceptible to rips and punctures, especially if you ski hard.

did Patagonia make a fuss about the warranty? how many yrs since you bought it? I actually switched my wife's to Patagonia and myself to Outdoor Research after doing some research on reddit on brand warranty. So far have no need for warranty for both, touch wood, but I certainly not going HH route after my prior experience.
Mine arrived yesterday. UPS delivered it to the wrong street...lol
Luckily the person that got my package was honest and called me. The L is way too big for me, but it looks like you can exchange for free (even different color and size that wasn't on sale)
Deal is back.... No reflector/Recco, lack of pockets make this more of a functional winter jacket that can double in the snow. There are deals for $200 for gore-tex 2L/3L, Recco and more pockets from marmut and others right now.
