Both BestBuy and Amazon now have this 3080 ti GPU on sale. It is still $100 above the FE but still a good price to me. If you need a GPU right now, this should be a good one you can pick.

BestBuy: Store pick up only and the availability might vary in different location. I am in bay area and I can pick it up in 6 days from my nearest BestBuy store.

Amazon: Free shipping and better return policy?! Thanks "ankit762" for finding this https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-G...129&sr=8-6

Not bad if you need one right this second, probably the best price I have seen on 3080Ti recently. They will continue to come back down to earth though.

3rd party is usually priced higher than FE so I do not think it can drop a lot. Never saw RTX 20 series or GTX 10 series card were sold below FE MSPR

However, you might see more options in the same range if you wait longer.

Yeah I had the same thought process. Wonder how low a 3080ti will go until 4000 series gets released.

Why wouldn't someone just buy the Zotac 3080 12gb for $300 less?

is that a open box one which has no warranty and no guarantee if it is ever used as a mining card?

Lol, it's one thread up from this one if you search for RTX 3080.

Really not worth it if you ask me.

Stay strong and force these prices to come down. Even the $1,199 MSRP for this is outrageous. Should be $1k.

If you really really need a card right now, I think you're better off looking for a 3080 12GB deal. Those are lowering in price here and there.

Until 2 years ago it was common for 3rd party cards to be sold for less than FE MSRP, at least with regular deals. My RTX 2060 was purchased new in May 2020 for $270, which was lower than FE MSRP (originally $350 and then lowered to $300).

Card prices are dropping. Unless people need a card now, it's best to keep waiting.
