Almost four years old.

Mine is over 3 years old. Still works perfectly. Still get 4 whole days off a full charge. Still get all the notifications I need. Still can answer phone calls.

I bought two more brand new last year for my wife and my son, $100 a piece. No regrets at all. They love them.

Keep in mind Samsung has moved to a completely different OS than these which are stuck with the Tizen OS. The current gen Samsung watches are now Wear OS. The measly app support you had with Tizen is about to get much worse. Of course, if you are only using it for the built in features, then it may not matter for now.

LTE watch has it's advantages.. So lets not justify that LTE is useless.
it all comes down to affordability. That is, if you can afford the additional $$ for that watch and monthly payment to your carrier.. or does it provide value. Some people sit home all day, some people run, some people only watch rafting on TV, other might go for real rafting and just take their watch.

For some people it is, some it isn't. Some people can't..

Of course there's a use case for lte. But what you said about not having lte was a lot of exaggeration, not a "little". But then again, pretty everything people say on the internet is greatly exaggerated.
