I bought one of these and mounted it as a top case on my motorcycle. It's very weather tight. The only (minor) issue is that the thin metal tabs around the holes to accommodate pad locks started rusting after the first season of riding. It's only cosmetic and the rest of the case looks fine. Definitely recommend this as an affordable alternative to a Pelican case for most applications.
