Don't get the flip, fancy phone, horrible battery life. Fanciness wears off, but day to day battery usage is what matters at the end. Need to charge at least 3 times a day with regular usage
The battery has been a sore spot for me but even with light gaming I've never had to charge that much. How much screen on time?

Was tempted to do this and trade in my Pixel 4 for the S22 or Pixel 6 but after reading the horror stories of the phones not shipping for months I'm probably going to hold off.

Hi guys, s22 for 299, or pixel 5a for 199?
I think build quality is better on the Samsung. Plus, it's the newest processor. And it's rare that Google doesn't eventually F up a phone with an update that they never fix. See pixel 2, 3, and 4....

I currently use metro by T-Mobile because the signal is very good where I live unlike Verizon, will the signal with Google Fi hypothetically be exactly the same?

Trade in money only applies to your future monthly bill. Google fi will not use the Trade in value to offet your phone purchase amount.
FYI.

According to the website they credit back your card if you pay for the phone in full and do not finance the phone.

Why are you looking for a MicroSD card when the S22 series doesn't support expandable storage? Wink

Correct. Just leave the Google Fi SIM activated in the S22 you're purchasing. Get an esim from your main number.

So it'll be $300 (S22) + 4 months of service; roughly $25/mo after taxes less $20 referral discount.

That's exactly what I am doing!
