Just want to give you guys an update. I received my phone yesterday and I transferred my # through Google Voice and activated the s22 with the Fi sim card. After that I took out the Fi sim (without resetting the ph) and uninstalled the Google Fi app. I put in my Mint mobile sim after and started using it. I just checked the Fi savings progress today and the days are counting down (see the attachment). It looks like we can take out the Fi sim and use our current carrier without any issue with this method. We just need to make sure that we don't put the Fi sim card into another phone.

Thank you. I currently have Mint Mobile as well and was curious if the sim replacement would affect the Google Fi activation progress. I appreciate the insight.

Pay close attention to battery life for base S22. Read the reviews. That's my deal breaker.

So I have my main line (no promos) and 2 group members (both have 500 off promos one expiring in 44 days and one in 110 days). Can I port out both my main line and line that is up at 44 days (when it reaches day 45) and just leave last group member and have him pay his own bill or I have to carry on having original line until all promo periods reaching that are pending now?

U r right. I got the base model s22 yesterday. Maybe I'm using it more than normal on my first day. But I needed to charge it twice yesterday.

If I'm trading in, but my phone is not going to be delivered for another month, I'm assuming that the countdown for me to send my trade-in device only starts AFTER I receive my new device?
There's a sequence of events going on. Been about a year and a half, so not remembering exactly. But referring to my emails, and what I can recall, the countdown starts when Google Fi mails you the return kit. You will get email notification of this, along with tracking info, iirc.

For me, I received this notification after I had received and activated the new phone from Fi.

Just came back in stock and ordered. My delivery date is a month from your original, guess we will find out in due time..
Glad to hear you are able to place an order. New delivery date for me is now May 18 ~ 20
I have seen cases where order date is later than mine but already received one in hand.
Looks like google fi has serious problem with their inventory management. This is not the first time I heard (first time going through the pain I guess lol) about this huge delay…

So, boost mobile activated the sim card automatically like 3 days after i ordered my sim, which was another 3 says before i got my phone. I dont think you need to wait for boost mobile to do much, as long as you have your account info (from te boost website) and the "unlock pin", which js the term for that. The porting process took me like 2 hours though, off from their 15 minute estimate. Also, the form kept on calling my boost mobile account info my att account number, but in the end it worked
Thank you, I received my Boost Mobile simcard today. I activated the service on a spare phone. Then made 2 calls (didn't even answer) and sent 2 texts. Both worked, so I then called Boost Mobile and asked the rep for the Port Out pin and he gave it to me, no questions why or even a call to the number, pretty nice rep. Then I did the Port in and like you Google Fi preferred to the number as AT&T number. The Port in was completed in less than 2 hours. I even chatted with Google Fi after 45 minutes and they assured that it was okay to see AT&T when porting in, in their end they could see Boost Mobile.

I ordered the base S22 this morning. How soon do they normally ship and where do they ship from?

I don't know about other colors, but the Black S22 128gb I received came from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. It took about a week, but it seems it's the most readily available.

Deals submitted by members just like you make it to the front page daily. Referrals have never been allowed on Slickdeals, and that was a decision made a long time ago by people at a much higher level than me.

Thanks, I ordered the black S22 256GB. Did you say they shipped in a week's time or you received it in a week?
