This card had dual bios performance and quiet. The difference between them is the fan curve. I got it Open-Box at MC for $630 + tax and so no complaint there. The only downside (bad luck) is the coil whine in this GPU it is very noticeable in NZXT H1 v1 original case. So, I set it in quiet mode and under-volt it to 1000mv @ 1980Mhz and still hear it, but a lot better at stock volt of 1081mv @ 1935Mhz boosted. The GPU temperature on this card is very nice due to the big cooler design and keeps it around 73 degrees celsius in quiet mode. The limit on this card will be the GDDR6X RAM which is hot at 90 degrees celsius (still below the 110-degree limit). Might need to do the cooper in the long run if you plan to keep the card or use it for mining.

I agree tho… if the 3080 hits 800 then I'll cancel my 3070ti order. But a 3080 may be overkill for me… I typically play older games and then I'm gaming at 1440, so a 3070-3070ti seems to be the sweet spot for me.
