Brushless or not, it's a good deal for a comprehensive set with everything it comes with, including a charger and batteries. I have been wanting the circular saw and Sawzall. Every time someone posts the hack for home depot, I try, and it makes me cancel the whole order, so this is a great deal for me. I got the two drills even though I own the atomic drill driver. Now I have two more drills and the Sawzall and circular saw I have tirelessly tried to get during the hacks but was unable to get. Along with the flashlight and radio, two batteries, and a charger everywhere else, this is over $400 to $700 good enough for me when I see brushless deals later, but I am delighted I have all this for now at this price.

As someone who's never done the Home Depot hack but read all the threads, everyone seems successful when they order the item they're not interested for store pickup at some random store, even across the country. That way, YOU don't need to cancel anything. Simply let Home Depot cancel the partial order after it doesn't get picked up.

My take on this particular deal is that its not a very useful combination of tools, and just meant to drive up the piece count. The mediocre flashlight and bluetooth speaker aren't worth paying a premium for the Dewalt battery compatibility when the kit only comes with a 2ah battery. But its a great deal if you're the lucky person who coincidentally needs all of the included tools.

That said, if you're happy with this deal, more power to you.

Brushless tools are over-rated. The DCD780 drill in this kit is probably the best drill Dewalt has ever made (in my opinion). It has out-lasted even my Dewalt brushless drills (DCD796, DCD996).

Anyways, deal seems sold out now.

Why does any company manufacture items at various price points? To make money. In fact, Dewalt has so many different lines, names, and gimmicks for their tools and batteries, I can't keep up anymore. Same with Milwaukee.
