Fun gameplay, but the storyline is such hot boiled garbage that I couldn't finish the game and I'm a huge sucker for space shooters/sims (been playing everspace all weekend for the millionth time). I read in reviews that the storyline was bad and thought I had prepared myself, but nope, it's even worse than that.

After the Squadrons mess, this game was actually quite refreshing. There were a couple missions that I found frustrating, but all-in-all a nice experience and I liked that some original ideas for incorporated into the game play. Worth $20 for sure, but I imagine it will probably go even lower soon.

It's an arcade space roguelite with RPG elements. If you like flying around in spaceships and blowing stuff up, it's a blast.

Everspace was damn good. Got bored after the dna part started, but sunk a lot of hours into it prior.
