Lifetime for THE COMPUTER you install this on. It's non-transferrable. (Updates are apparently included) I'm seeing regular price between $69-99.

The free updates don't include upgrades.
IOW, when Office 2024 (or whatever) comes out you don't get to upgrade to it. However, you will still receive security, bug, and critical updates to your Office 2021 for the life of the product (thru Oct 13, 2026).

Also, read the ONE COMPUTER part as something that you control. If a computer that you had this Office 2021 on dies, you are fully able to license the same Office 2021 on a new computer, provided you log into your Microsoft account and remove the old computer activation. It's a full retail license that is fully transferrable - as long as it's only on one computer at a time.

Also², If you already have (or have had) a Microsoft account tied to a subscription Microsoft product (Office365/Microsoft365) Microsoft may not allow you to use that account for perpetual products (although this isn't explained when you try to use it). Just create a new, free Microsoft account and activate it that way. You can use the key you receive for any valid email address (regardless of the email address you enter when purchasing the Office 2021 Pro).

I purchased from here in mid April. Last week my installation suddenly restricted my access as unlicensed. I called Microsoft support and they tried to help but unable to saying something to the effect this was MSDN licensed and ultimately I would have to contact the seller. I do not recommend this deal.

I don't think it needs to show activated it just should not ask to be activated. I am not getting any prompts for activation. I was just referring to fact that different key I bought from different seller shows activated but this one does not, may be based on type of license? I was able to add it to my MS account so I do believe its legit from urlhasbeenblocked. When I check my MS I can see it. Perhaps someone else who purchased from urlhasbeenblocked can verify they see the same when opening Word or Exel > Account.

Used urlhasbeenblocked for two MACs.. Got the serial instantly ( in the order confirmation ) for one, while the other says ' product key will assign manually within 2 hours please wait for it '



Each key came out to $27 with tax



Emailed'em for the key. Hopefully, they'll respond!

Update: I ended up purchasing from urlhasbeenblocked. Total came out to be $25.00 after the 50% off coupon (code: christ21). This is the cheapest option for Mac users. The key was actually populated at the checkout screen. I redeemed the key at microsoft.com/redeem without any issues. Super fluid process. urlhasbeenblocked should definitely be added to the Wiki!
