Lifetime for THE COMPUTER you install this on. It's non-transferrable. (Updates are apparently included) I'm seeing regular price between $69-99.

The free updates don't include upgrades.
IOW, when Office 2024 (or whatever) comes out you don't get to upgrade to it. However, you will still receive security, bug, and critical updates to your Office 2021 for the life of the product (thru Oct 13, 2026).

Also, read the ONE COMPUTER part as something that you control. If a computer that you had this Office 2021 on dies, you are fully able to license the same Office 2021 on a new computer, provided you log into your Microsoft account and remove the old computer activation. It's a full retail license that is fully transferrable - as long as it's only on one computer at a time.

Also², If you already have (or have had) a Microsoft account tied to a subscription Microsoft product (Office365/Microsoft365) Microsoft may not allow you to use that account for perpetual products (although this isn't explained when you try to use it). Just create a new, free Microsoft account and activate it that way. You can use the key you receive for any valid email address (regardless of the email address you enter when purchasing the Office 2021 Pro).

I purchased from here in mid April. Last week my installation suddenly restricted my access as unlicensed. I called Microsoft support and they tried to help but unable to saying something to the effect this was MSDN licensed and ultimately I would have to contact the seller. I do not recommend this deal.

This may not have advanced features that 365 subscription version has. For example design helper feature on PowerPoint. Just my 2 cents.

They're asking my entire information to purchase that. Doesn't look good. Very suspicious. Even with PAYPAL option, they required to enter my name, address, email, phone#, BILLINGS ADDRESS, everything. Why they need any info when I' select Paypal? This is clearly suspicious.

I'm also still using Office 2010 on Windows 10, just basic stuff in Word and Excel. I loathed O365 that came with my latest Dell Desktop. I'm glad I held on to my old disc.

I'm using 2007 still... got a deal for $20 for Office Pro - was told the license would not allow me to use it after I left the company... still going strong. Will snag this deal - missing way too many improvements and compatibility issues with others.
