Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

CPU is overkill for that GPU, and you'll definitely want to upgrade the cooler for it but options are limited due to space constraints in these cases. I'd pass, get something else, availability is ever increasing.

Yesterday's parts wrapped in a junk Dell chassis. 1TB mechanical hard drive in 2022? What kind of joke is that? Interacting with Dell's customer service is the definition of misery. Dell used to be pretty great but that is not true anymore.

Skip this if you value either your time or money.

I guess prices are "normalizing"? I paid this much 13 months ago for a similar system but with a 3060ti.

Yep. I used to be a big supporter of Dell Computers. But they have burned me and did me dirty with garbage parts and terrible cooling. The customer service is completely useless. Will never buy Dell again.

After tax it was $1,213.56 and I split the charge across 3 different Biz Plats.

-$200 BizPlat 1
-$200 BizPlat 2
-$200 BizPlat 3

Balance was put on BizPlat 1 ($813.56 of the $1,213.56 total) with 10% AO = - $81.35

1,213.56 -600 -81.35 = $532.21 Smilie

I've used the model (with 3070) for a year or so now. I'd say the the thermals are very bad and you will probably want to immediately swap out the pancake cpu cooler that dell offers. However, they customized their sockets such that you can't really get any of the standard CPU coolers off amazon to work and I had to buy one of their OEM products (coolers that comes with the K version of CPUs). Other than that the RAM is pretty crappy, if you want to upgrade you have to buy one of the Crucial ones and many other RAMs do not work. I understand Dell wants to cut corners to offer value but making it hard to upgrade just pains me a lot. My advice is to stay away.
