She's been hibernating in the basement where it's nice and cool.

We've had hotter summers than this before, but not as random. Hot, cold, hot, cold... That's been pretty annoying.

Part of it's finances. Part of it is job situation, part of it is I've built some great relationships down here..

I moved for kicks. To try a different part of the country. I gave it a decent try I think. I've just decided I like the northeast better.

I got mauled by mosquitos at a party a few days ago. Apparently some idiots left the slider door open because it was too hot in the house. Of course, none of us are willing to foot the bill to install central AC or even pay the electric bill for window units, so it's gonna stay pretty warm in there. On the plus side, it's small enough that body heat will keep it comfortably warm during the winter.
