Do not buy refurbished!! I bought two in December 2020. Both died about one month outside the one year warranty. I was so confident buying refurbished due to the dyson name. I went through weeks of back snd forth with customer service only to be told to replace the battery. Even after doing that the vacuums did not run more than five minutes. Dyson basically said they would give me 20% off item in their store. I bought the animal v7 though.

I have bought dyson refurbished with success previously, only one is refurbished. Of those listed.
Some solid deals here. Paid $299 for a V8 "Fluffy" over the holidays, which was the same price as the V7 Abso at the time. Obviously the V8 I bought isn't as common or popular since it has only the soft roller head, instead of both heads like the "Absolute" versions. No big to me, I have a small apartment with all hard floors. Still might have gone for the V7 if it had been $50 less.
Just be sure to get the soft roller ("Fluffy") head if you have a significant amount of solid surface, uncarpeted floor to deal with.
I'm 6 months in with the V8, still love it. A godsend if you have a modestly sized home and a 4-legged shedding beast of some type. 🙂

If the vac is pulsing on and off, you need to clean or replace the purple drop in filter on the v7. Mine did it and cleaning it out fixed my issue.
