Keep in mind this is pretty much a minimalist pack. Very popular for mountaineering because of less snagging, but it also means fewer features for casual usage (no waist strap, sketchy side pockets, etc). Top loading saves weight but can be a pain when you want something from the bottom. Looks like a frame sheet and not a real frame, but not sure

I have a Mtn Equipment pack very much like this, and it's hit or miss. We usually end up taking a more full featured pack on hikes, the low-profile one on planes.

Trying very damn hard to resist myself. This looks like a nice carry-on for a short trip. I already have the Farpoint 40 but I still want this. lol

Also, anyone know if the Ozonic is comparable to something like the Marmot Precip? The fabric on this looks thicker in the pictures but hard to imagine it's packable if it's thick.

The Deuter SL for example is... slimmer? And marketed at women or boys. My son's SL is definitely slightly smaller than the non-SL pack I use although hard to tell visually. I could get away with using his pack after adjusting it. I suspect Mountain Hardwear is similar, that women's is slightly smaller and has different color scheme.
