An excellent choice of laptop. Those who don't need one right away should know that LG just announced the new 12th gen version of the Gram, which might lead to even more discounts in the coming months on these 11th gen machines (or the option to buy a 12th gen, which is a major architecture overhaul). Still a great price though.

I have never seen these go lower than $1050. Don't think it is worth it to wait unless you just want the 12th generation

don't have experience about how the hinges can handle 17inches. but the 16 inches is the best one I have ever had

I wish LG would off their LG Gram with AMD. The Intel CPU in this fan-less laptop is a mini heater when you put any workload on this.

Idle is 50c to 60c.
