This is a good deal for the Ryobi PAD01. I think the last time it showed up on here, it was $50 (for a Brand New unit). Shows only 13 in stock from that particular seller, but don't forget to click on buying options to see from other sellers as well.

Not an authorized seller, so most likely warranty will not be honored by Ryobi if there is an issue. Just something to keep in mind.

Bought this a few months back. Paid about $35 for a remanufactured one off direct tools. At first I didn't like the speaker much, as the sound is a little flat. Not heavy on bass and the treble is not very bright either. Seems to not have any built-in sub, nor tweeters. Sounds like a couple good size full range drivers and that's about it. I will say the speaker has grown on me somewhat though, it definitely sounds better than my other Ryobi speaker which is the AM/FM Bluetooth mono speaker. Also it gets very loud without distorting. And lastly it seems to get much much better battery life than 10 hours off a 4 amp hour battery. I'm assuming 10 hours is about what you would get if you were blaring this thing at the work site, but at regular volume it's much more. Also has a USB charger which is nice. Not a bad deal for 42 bucks

Found this speaker (kit form with battery & charger) on the clearance shelf @ HomeDepot for $49.97 which is $10 less than the tool only price at the ryobi display.
