ti version is about 30-40% faster in games for about a 20% increase in MSRP.... now finding a ti for MSRP is a whole nother thing.
Nah, the TI is barely 20% faster.
This is great as long as you aren't playing at 4k.

But this is below MSRP. MSRP doesn't mean founder edition price

Same boat but I have a lesser card. 1060. Wondering how much of a boost I would get with this playing on my 1440p monitor.

Not sure if you remember when FE became a thing. FE cards were $100 more than the base msrp. Since then we have removed base msrp and FE pricing has become the new msrp. Effectively Nvidia found a way to raise msrp by $100 prior to covid and world shortages, AMD joined in and somehow we all just took it,

this is a much better deal than my 3060 from best buy for 439.99. damn thinkin about returning this now and just waiting for prices to drop even more

I would wait. Unless you can get a founder's edition. I finally was able to get a 3070 for the 499. I'd wait

Now that it is easiler to get RTX video card, Is it worth it to upgrade from GTX 1660 Super to this (or other models) if only play games like Elder Scrolls, God of War, newer RPG, etc once in a while and most of the time just web surfing, email, word processing, etc living in area that has really high electricity rate?
And may be something that can automatically reduce power consumption when not playing games, etc?
for these particular games you listed probably not unless you use some high res mods. Especially if you don't have a high refresh monitor. If your 1660 isn't really giving you any issues or is performing reasonably enough I don't see a reason to upgrade. Just wait it out for another generation.

There's probably 100 youtube videos that would compare the two but from what I can tell they're about the same.
