Now that it is easiler to get RTX video card, Is it worth it to upgrade from GTX 1660 Super to this (or other models) if only play games like Elder Scrolls, God of War, newer RPG, etc once in a while and most of the time just web surfing, email, word processing, etc living in area that has really high electricity rate?
And may be something that can automatically reduce power consumption when not playing games, etc?
Definitely not.

If you're going to upgrade from a 1660 to a 3060, that is just two incremental upgrades of the same card (960 / 1060 / 1660 / 2060 / 3060 are different gens of the same tier card).

In a year, the 4060 is likely to be around $200 (assuming AMD stays in the game with their ATI line-up to push NVidia low/medium end competition).

There's probably 100 youtube videos that would compare the two but from what I can tell they're about the same.
The only reason to update from 1080 to 3060 is for the ray tracing functionality that they introduced in the 2xxx series. Other than that, you're not going to see any improvement.

Is this a big upgrade from a gtx 1080
Not at all, for gaming it is potentially a downgrade but should be equal in most cases other than ray tracing capability with the 3060 (which isn't that big of a deal really).

for video editing (4K and above), would two of these be better than one 3080 in Davinci Resolve?

better to wait for 4xxx series? how long will the wait be if so?

lastly, are they going to be all LHR moving forward?

$4060 for $200? Doubt it, I did like buying my 1060 for $200 back in the day though…

No, probably a downgrade unless you're gaming on 4k and use DLSS and ray tracing.

after a year, i realized that i really don't need graphic card. I'll keep using my 3400G,
Might as well buy the Steam Deck if you are going to use integrated graphics. The Steam Deck has 25% better gaming performance than an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with an AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 (Ryzen 4000), when gaming at the same settings and resolution.

ti version is about 30-40% faster in games for about a 20% increase in MSRP.... now finding a ti for MSRP is a whole nother thing.
That is not true AT all. Check all sorts of websites and you will NEVER see 30%+ increase. LOL wtf are you smoking?

I have a 970, so I decided to get this 3060 since my PC with a 970 is barely VR ready and I've been waiting so long to start my VR games. Now's the time for me.

That's not entirely true, but believe what you must.
