I got a question for cutting edge buyers alway purchasing the greatest & latest tech.
What do you guys do with the processors your replacing? Chuck'em
Very simple. It becomes your second PC. If not, you hand them down to your parents, siblings, relatives, or friends. There is always someone you know that needs an upgrade. Otherwise, you clean up all the components you're replacing and sell them on eBay or Craigslist (dangerous) for a nice chunk of money to help recoup the high cost of new purchases.

Bite or wait for new amd 5800x 3d or other intel...maybe the price will go down

I'd wait as intel always brings something else out and/or lowers prices at the same time when new AMD comes out.

Only 1 week left before the 5800x3D comes out.

Wowzers. Awesome price for someone building a brand new Intel PC.
Eh. Unless you absolutely need one right now, 13th gen is worth the couple month wait.

Thanks for the information, I'll continue to wait. They sure know when to bring the prices down and tempt people...esp how the prices of a lot of processors
that went down in price recently

Isn't there a motherboard warping issue due to the new design of Alder Lake?
Why wouldn't you Google it and link it, if it were the case? AMD fan, perhaps?

How can a computer being "too fast" ever be a problem? Your parents need their computer to take 5 minutes opening a web browser so they can finish their coffee?

balls, I bought a 12700F a couple weeks ago for about this price, would definitely have grabbed the K instead at this price!

If you planning on running a GPU, is there any reason to get the K version instead of KF? (Assuming the only difference is with and without Integrated GPU).
Is there a performance difference between K and KF?
