got airpods pro for $91 before tax and tips

canceled $138 order, signed up for instacart express trial, which knocked airpods down to $179.99
cash app boost for additional 30% off $130

can possibly get $40 off $150 total by using amex offers instead of cash app
looks like instacart gift cards can be added here: https://sameday.costco.com/accoun...rt-express

buying 2x $75 instacart gift cards should trigger 2x $20 statement credits for those who have it
How did you use the cash app boost?

Is the payment charged by Instacart? I have 2x amex offer 20 off 75.

Edit - This triggered Instacart Amex offer 20 off 75.

Seems like instacart's problem with not paying a fair wage.
Do you tip service staff at a restaurants?

So wouldn't the solution be for Instacart to pay their drivers more?
That's too outside the box for him

Don't be cheap - give the worker a tip. It's the right thing to do
Depends if it's good service or not.

ETA: I went for it. Placed a $101 order , after $50 coupon, before tip. Got the cashapp notification instantly. Moments before that, I had signed up for the cash app card and was instantly given a Debit card number to use online. Real card will be mailed to me. Funded my cash app account with $150 from a debit card that i also just linked , which will cover the pre auth of $125 plus any replacement overages, to avoid any cash app over draft fees. Appreciate all the info from this amazing community. final cost under ~$80 for $150 of organic groceries we were going to buy anyway Smilie mega slick!! Thank you so much.

Did you get instant notification of the cash app boost working? This would be my first time using cash app boost. Unsure whether the purchase will show up as insta cart or Costco.

With sprouts/instacart, the pending transaction shows up as instacart, but when it finally posts it just says sprouts.

FYI - I think it was John Oliver who talked about it recently. Apparently FedEx are independent contractors also.

"UPS drivers are usually unionized employees while FedEx Ground drivers are generally nonunion independent contractors. The UPS model provides the truck, maintenance, and benefits packages while the FedEx model puts that on the contractor, which operates as their own business." -- https://unionhall.aflcio.org/nblc...20business.
Maybe not true for all FedEx ground delivery drivers but in my experience smaller independent logistics companies bid/own the routes but the actually drivers are employees of those companies.

Those that work for UPS, FedEx, and USPS are not independent contractors. Instacart drivers are and therefore have to pay for gas, insurance and taxes. The $10 Instacart pays them to shop and deliver your order barely covers their expenses. If you can't afford the service, whose workers rely on tips to make a living wage, don't use it.
Actually FedEx are independent contractors (maybe not in California, think a court ruled there that they had to be classified as employees based on the extent of their connection to the company) lol

If you have to ask, you don't need it. But it's basic math, what's the $/TB price you think is good atm? For me, anything below $15 is good for many drives.
thannks
