Resolved: Is there a reason why I can't submit a deal on urlhasbeenblocked?

There's an opportunity to get a rare physical release of a digital-only video game, but for some reason, Slickdeals won't let me post it. Are they blocked for any specific reason? I used Paypal and have ordered from them before so I'm not concerned about theft. Are they just not an advertising partner? If so, that's completely bogus. Just let us post actual deals!

First and foremost, thank you for wanting to take the time to share the deal you found with the rest of our community. While vec is absolutely correct in that, by far, most sites, brands, stores, etc that are blocked on our site are the result of violations of our Terms of Service or other policies, the team brought the matter of this particular site to our attention and we took we took a deeper look. Due to how long ago the block was put in place, it wasn't immediately obvious what the reasoning was but after we investigated further, we were able to ascertain that there is no longer a need for us to continue blocking this site.
Please note that we do not block merchants simply because they do not advertise or otherwise partner with us and that we have no reason to believe this particular site is not trustworthy. Also, this was a relatively unique situation and we are not normally able to accomodate inquiries regarding the specifics of a banned merchant nor requests to remove such blocks.
We are completely aware that the nature by which anyone contributing a deal to our site may discover that the merchant is not allowed is far from ideal and we are actively working towards improving that experience in the future.
At this point, any member of our community should now be able to share deals for play-asia.com so long as they meet our other rules and guidelines.
