It's pretty good for blowing dirt out of my garage and stuff like that. If you plan on using it exclusively for leaf blowing you'd be better off going gas powered.

I have both. Payed same price sans battery. I'd recommend both. Trimmer feed mechanism has a learning curve

Pretty sure this is the case all around. I've heard some are good but only really last 15minutes.

Are there any tricks you could share? I've had mine for a few years and the feeding is an issue. Have the string snap off quite a bit when I'm edging and then have to manually re-feed it. Could I have just gotten a bad lot of string with mine?
