Honestly after charging batteries on a million different devices, I want everything wired now. I want the keyboard to function even if I'm in the BIOS. I don't want to deal with connection issues. and given that mechanical keyboards are used for gaming, I'm not interested in a keyboard with a 15ms or higher delay, or losing functionality when the computer is chugging because the keyboard has to communicate at layer 7.

They never have to make you do the order first, when I did it they actually placed the order on their end and I got an email with invoice to pay. I clicked the invoice link to pay (shows keyboard, price, etc) and then go back to chat where they finalize the order.

If you save the transcript one agent told you they would do it, then they should honor that. Ask for escalation if they say no.

EDIT: You guys must be getting pretty rough BB folks, my friend just called in and had them place the order for pickup. $99.99 and he is out to pick it up now.

Ok, so I went through like 30+ representatives and finally managed to get it price matched. Make sure you provide a zip code near the physical Adorama store if they ask for it, even if you do, they still let you pick it up at your actual store. I thought it was impossible, but it just took a lot of patience. The representative's name was Asher if that helps.

Similar, but Apex Pro is more customizable. K70 also just came out with the new pro version which is nice, but sold out mostly. However, this Apex Pro normally $200 is only $100 - so it's a definite steal of a price.

I really like:
- Customizable actuation on any keys or all keys (so I can make it feel like different types of keys for different things)
- Customizable little OLED screen on top right of the keyboard. I already found tons of cool little animations to play on it haha.
- USB passthrough on the back is nice and useful
- Rated at 100 million keypresses - much higher than other keyboards
- Magnetic attaching wrist rest so I can easily pop it on or off; it's extremely stable when on which is nice

Rest is fairly standard across the board - colors, profiles, layout, etc.

Really a great keyboard. Also much quieter than I expected.

Best keyboard I've owned, hands down.

Not at all into the RBG Bling! so it's muted when I use it for typing.
BUT, it really shines (heh) when I play strategy games: I can set per/game profiles to assign colors to individual hot keys.

I gave the Adorama link, it's pretty tough to find someone who will price match it for you. Like I mentioned earlier, it took me 30+ tries.
