This could almost power a DeLorean back to 1985! 🤔😜

"This system connects to shore power so your battery will automatically charge when connected."

I guess this is only for waterfront property.

It is a nice system. Beats the hell out of a Tesla wall. Just installed one for my house. When the power goes out, my solar feeds directly in - have a 5kw solar system. I also have an inverter gas generator that I can use to top off the charge if I need to - comes in handy up north in the winter months.

Great deal Smilie It matches the previous FP back in January.

Technically you posted this "deal of a lifetime" back in 2005 though Wink https://slickdeals.net/e/124309-27-lcd-tv-699-00-price-mistake
A 27" Westinghouse LCD screen for only $699 haha. Hopefully it served you well.
Don't laugh. I had to have the first 45 inch Sharp LC45GX6U 1080P lcd panel for 7 large in 2005. Watched it for 10 years and gave it to my daughter who then gave it to her in-laws who still have it. It was a big deal back then when all there was were CRTs.

To power fridge during power outage what so you need to do? Pull the fridge out and plug directly into the River Pro or you can run it off the panel? For the latter option, you need an electrician I assume.

If your fridge is a pain to pull out, you can have an electrician install a generator bypass on the circuit. I have one for my fridge and one for my furnace installed next to my breaker box. During an outage I just run an extension cord from my portable generator and flip the switch.
Here is the one for my fridge. (Because it was a 20A circuit I got the 20A version but you can probably get away with a 15A one -- although I don't know code)

I can totally see that. I still remember being amazed by my grandparents who got a 65" tv to watch their westerns on back around 2012 lol. They must have spent a ton. They had it until 2020 though - no clue how that vizio lasted so long.

These can also function as UPS so would work well for a computer/server/NAS situation in a pinch. I have the standard version installed on my office power strip. You can set max charge to 80% to prolong life.

A single propane tank won't run for days unless you're only running a couple things for short periods of time.

Also, where I live, propane tanks were missiles during some serious wildfires. The solar system is portable enough that you can throw it in a vehicle and pop the panel on the roof of the vehicle if you're camped out somewhere until FEMA or whoever gets to you. This can at least keep all your electronics charged and some heated blankets, etc.

If I lived in a hurricane area, I'd get a gas/propane generator over a solar generator. I'd still have one of the fold out solar panels for phones and whatnot though in case there was a break in weather.

Bought this last year with the extra battery. Used it for camping with no issues and didn't even need to use the second battery. Used to charge three iPhones, keeping the night light on for three nights, as well as running a projector for three nights. This is all in addition to inflating three queen inflatable mattress. After the trip, still had 40% battery left. Love it
